Today, at the Ministry’s headquarters, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, received his Chadian counterpart, Mohammed Saleh Nazeef, who is visiting Algeria to participate in the twentieth ministerial meeting for African and North European countries.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting led to an agreement on various steps aimed at strengthening Algerian-Chadian relations. This includes the organization of the upcoming session of the Joint Committee for Cooperation early next year and intensifying communication between the economic stakeholders in both countries to make the most of the opportunities provided by the Continental Free Trade Area.
Additionally, both sides took this opportunity to exchange views and analyses on the critical developments in the Palestinian issue and the latest updates in the situation in the Sahrawi desert region.
