Tunis, Tunisia – The Algerian National Police showcased its extensive experience in combating drug trafficking and substance abuse at the 49th Arab Police and Security Leaders Conference held in Tunis. Director General of National Security, Mr. Ali Badaoui, presented Algeria’s multifaceted approach to tackling the issue during the conference proceedings on Wednesday.
Mr. Badaoui detailed the Algerian police force’s strategies, highlighting successful initiatives and collaborative efforts with other law enforcement agencies. He emphasized the importance of proactive measures, including intelligence gathering and community engagement, in disrupting drug networks and preventing drug-related crimes.
