Algiers Governor Meets with Parliamentarians to Discuss Development

Algiers, November 6, 2025 – The Governor of Algiers, Mohamed Abd El Nour Rabhi, held a consultative meeting yesterday with members of the People’s National Assembly representing the Algiers electoral district, as well as members of the Council of the Nation.

According to a statement released by the Wilaya (province), the meeting focused on the progress of projects under the strategic vision for modernizing and developing the capital city. Presentations were given on projects related to the education, health, and youth and sports sectors.

During the session, parliamentarians raised concerns voiced by citizens within their constituencies. Governor Rabhi addressed these concerns, providing clarifications and issuing instructions to relevant departments to address them effectively.

“The issues raised during previous meetings are being carefully studied and addressed in accordance with established regulations and legislation,” Rabhi affirmed.

The meeting underscores the ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life for residents of Algiers and reflects a commitment to collaborative governance between local authorities and national representatives.
