Attal, Baouche, and Saioud Headline Algeria’s Lineup vs. Bahrain

DOHA – Madjid Bougherra, the head coach of the Algerian national team, has unveiled the starting lineup for their highly anticipated match against Bahrain in the second round of the group stage of the Arab Cup 2025.

The *Fennec Foxes* lineup features several changes compared to the team that played in the opening match against Sudan. Goalkeeper Chaal retains his position, while the defensive line sees the inclusion of Attal and Baouche, replacing Halaimia and Khasif, respectively. They will join Abada and Badrane in the heart of the defense.

In midfield, Bougherra has maintained his confidence in the duo of Ben Debka and Lakhal, with Yacine Benzia orchestrating the play.

The attacking front will feature Amir Saioud, who starts in place of the suspended Adam Ounas. He will be accompanied by Boulbina and Berkan.

The confirmed starting eleven for Algeria is as follows:

Chaal, Attal, Baouche, Badrane, Abada, Ben Debka, Lakhal, Benzia, Saioud, Boulbina, Berkan.

The match is crucial for Algeria’s chances of progressing to the knockout stages of the Arab Cup, and Bougherra will be hoping that his chosen lineup can deliver a strong performance against a determined Bahraini side.
