President Tebboune Offers Condolences After Beni Abbes Bus Tragedy

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has conveyed his deepest condolences to the families of the victims of a tragic bus accident in the Beni Abbes region. The accident, involving a passenger bus in the municipality of Tabelbala, resulted in 13 fatalities and 35 injuries.

In a message shared on his official social media account, President Tebboune expressed his profound sorrow. “We are deeply saddened by the traffic accident that occurred in the Wilaya of Beni Abbes today, which claimed the lives of 13 of our citizens,” the message stated. “With great sorrow and grief, I extend my sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased, praying to God to grant their loved ones patience and solace, and to the injured a speedy recovery, God willing. There is no power or strength except in God.”

The devastating accident occurred when a passenger bus veered off course and overturned on National Road 50, en route to Bechar. This led to the heavy toll of casualties.
