National Gendarmerie Dismantles Money Laundering Ring in Mostaganem

The National Gendarmerie in Mostaganem has successfully apprehended a criminal group specializing in money laundering, following a targeted operation by the Regional Road Security Unit. The operation was initiated based on credible intelligence indicating the presence of an organized criminal network involved in trafficking and transporting hard drugs along National Route 11, which connects Oran and Mostaganem.

Acting on this information, surveillance points were strategically established, leading to the interception of a vehicle matching the provided description. A thorough search of the vehicle revealed a substantial sum of money, exceeding 7,505,000 Algerian Dinars, concealed within the trunk.
