Gaza: Ceasefire Violations Claim Hundreds of Palestinian Lives

Gaza City – A recent report released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health reveals a disturbing number of casualties resulting from alleged violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. Since October 11th, the Ministry reports that 377 Palestinians have been killed.

According to the report, 987 Palestinians have also sustained injuries since the implementation of the ceasefire. These figures highlight the ongoing fragility of the situation and the human cost of continued tensions in the region.

The Ministry of Health further stated that the total number of Palestinian fatalities since October 2023 has reached 70,366, with 171,064 reported injuries. These cumulative figures paint a grim picture of the impact of the conflict on the civilian population.

In the past 24 hours alone, one Palestinian in Gaza has been reported killed and six others injured. Civil defense teams have managed to recover the bodies of 626 individuals. However, authorities say a significant number of victims remain trapped under rubble or in areas inaccessible due to ongoing instability.

DZWatch continues to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates as they become available. The ongoing violence and the resulting loss of life underscore the urgent need for a sustainable and lasting resolution to the conflict.
