DZWatch Exclusive: Prime Minister Sifi Ghrib was warmly received by Tunisian President Kais Saied at the Presidential Palace in Carthage today. The meeting underscores the strong bilateral ties between Algeria and Tunisia.
Prime Minister Ghrib conveyed the fraternal greetings of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, emphasizing his unwavering commitment to strengthening the bonds between the two nations and deepening bilateral cooperation across all sectors. He reiterated President Tebboune’s dedication to fostering a robust and mutually beneficial relationship.
President Saied expressed his profound appreciation for President Tebboune’s sentiments, highlighting the continuous communication between the two leaders aimed at bolstering bilateral cooperation and solidifying the fraternal ties between the two peoples, united by a shared history and common destiny. He stressed the importance of Algeria and Tunisia, as countries sharing numerous complementary factors across all levels and in all fields, continuing to work together to promote bilateral cooperation, develop partnerships, and increase inter-investment.
President Saied further emphasized the joint pursuit of deeper integration and shared prosperity, aligning with the aspirations of both nations, while also addressing global challenges. He commended the convergence of views between the two countries on regional and international issues of mutual concern. The Tunisian President lauded the current level of bilateral relations and called for continued joint efforts to intensify economic exchanges and elevate them to the full potential of both countries.
He expressed his best wishes for the success of the 23rd session of the Joint Algerian-Tunisian Grand Commission, scheduled to commence tomorrow, emphasizing the need to follow up and implement its outcomes to ensure the realization of the desired results for the benefit of both nations. President Saied highlighted the importance of concretizing the commission’s resolutions for the mutual benefit of both peoples.
Prime Minister Ghrib acknowledged the depth of the historical ties between the two countries and peoples, and the commitment of their leadership to elevate bilateral cooperation to the level of an integrated strategic partnership. He commended the dedication of both governments to achieving these ambitious goals, particularly through the exploitation of all available partnership opportunities across all fields.
