Algiers, Algeria – Algeria Post has announced the commencement of expansion and renovation works across a number of its post offices nationwide. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to modernize the national postal network and enhance the quality of services provided to citizens.
The project aims to improve customer reception areas and strengthen proximity to customers. Algeria Post stated that these works will necessitate the temporary relocation of postal services to nearby offices to ensure uninterrupted service.
The affected locations and their temporary service points are as follows:
- Blida Province: El-Matbouh district office. Services temporarily relocated to Boufarik office.
- Algiers Centre: Algiers 1st of May office. Services relocated to Hassiba Ben Bouali office.
- Khalifa Boukhalfa office: Services relocated to Algiers Main Post Office.
- Algiers East: Ain Naadja (196 Housing Units) office. Services relocated to Ain Naadja Houari Boumediene office.
- Algiers West: Oued Romane office. Customers will be temporarily served at the Achour ‘AADL’ office.
- Khenchela Province: Chechar office. Services relocated to the new Chechar office.
