Algeria Post Embarks on Nationwide Office Modernization

Algeria Post has initiated a comprehensive program to modernize its postal offices across several provinces. This initiative involves the renovation and expansion of existing facilities, aligning with the company’s strategic objective of enhancing its network and improving service delivery to citizens and customers.

In a statement released this week, Algeria Post acknowledged that the modernization work will necessitate temporary service relocations at some locations. Specifically, customers of the El-Matador district office in Blida will be redirected to the Boufarik office. Similarly, services from the Algiers 1st of May office will be temporarily transferred to the Hassiba Ben Bouali office, and the Khalifa Boukhalfa office’s services will be available at the Algiers Central Post Office in downtown Algiers.

Further service adjustments include the relocation of Ain Naadja 196 housing unit office services to the Ain Naadja Houari Boumediene office in eastern Algiers. Customers of the Oued El-Romane office will be served at the Achour AADL office in western Algiers. In Khenchela province, services previously offered at the Ouchach office are now available at the new Ouchach office.

DZWatch understands this is part of a larger effort to bring Algeria Post’s infrastructure to modern standards.

Algeria Post expressed its gratitude to the public for their understanding during this period of transition. The company reaffirmed its commitment to continuously improving its services and enhancing the customer experience to meet evolving expectations. The modernization project is expected to significantly improve the efficiency and accessibility of postal services nationwide.

DZWatch will continue to monitor the progress of this ambitious undertaking.
