The General Directorate of Civil Protection reported that emergency services responded to the incident at 1:39 PM local time. Firefighters worked to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to other parts of the building.
Cooling operations are still underway as emergency responders continue to assess the scene. Paramedics provided on-site medical assistance to the injured before transporting them to a local hospital for further treatment.
The Civil Protection deployed significant resources to combat the fire, including three fire trucks and three ambulances. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
