Occupied West Bank – Israeli forces conducted multiple raids across Palestinian towns and villages in the occupied West Bank Wednesday, resulting in the detention of two young men and injuries to at least two others, DZWatch has learned.
According to reports, the Israeli military arrested two Palestinian youths during incursions into the towns of Anabta and Kafr al-Labad, located east of Tulkarm. Witnesses say soldiers forcibly closed several businesses in Kafr al-Labad, threatening shop owners at gunpoint. Vehicles and civilians were reportedly stopped and subjected to field interrogations.
In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces raided the Khirbet Deir Razih area, south of Hebron. Troops deployed around residential areas and allegedly assaulted two local youths. Reports indicate they were severely beaten and mistreated.
Another Israeli force reportedly entered the southern part of Hebron, deliberately ramming a Palestinian vehicle with their military vehicle, causing material damage. No injuries were reported in that incident.
Furthermore, armed settlers allegedly attacked a Palestinian vehicle north of Hebron with stones, shattering its windows and causing damage.
Tensions remain high in the West Bank. Since October 7th, coinciding with the war in Gaza, there has been a significant increase in Israeli military operations and settler violence in the West Bank, including Jerusalem. These actions have resulted in numerous Palestinian casualties, injuries, and arrests.
DZWatch continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as they become available.
