Cnan Algerie Expands Maritime Route to Slovenia

Algiers – Cnan Algerie, a subsidiary of the Algerian Group for Maritime Transport (GATMA), has announced the expansion of its maritime shipping route between Algeria and Croatia to include Slovenia. This strategic move aims to enhance trade and facilitate the movement of goods between Algeria and Central Europe.

According to a statement released by GATMA, the expansion will incorporate the Port of Koper in Slovenia into the existing route. This development is expected to streamline logistics and provide Algerian businesses with improved access to markets in Slovenia and surrounding regions.

“This expansion represents a significant step forward in our efforts to strengthen Algeria’s maritime trade connections,” stated a GATMA spokesperson. “By including Slovenia in our existing route, we are providing businesses with a more efficient and cost-effective way to transport goods.”

The move is also expected to benefit Slovenian businesses by providing them with easier access to Algerian markets. The increased frequency of maritime traffic between the two countries is anticipated to boost economic activity and create new opportunities for collaboration.

Cnan Algerie specializes in the transport of various goods, including industrial products, agricultural commodities, and consumer goods. The expansion of the maritime route is part of a broader effort by the Algerian government to diversify its trade partners and strengthen its position as a key player in the Mediterranean region. The new route is expected to be fully operational in the coming weeks, with regular shipments scheduled between Algeria, Croatia, and Slovenia.

The inclusion of Slovenia in Cnan Algerie’s maritime network underscores the growing importance of maritime transport in facilitating international trade and fostering economic growth.
