Algiers, Algeria – December 25, 2025 – The Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, General Saïd Chengriha, has conveyed his deepest condolences to the family of Brigadier General Mohamed Ben Dida, Inspector of the Directorate of External Relations and Cooperation at the Ministry of National Defence.
Brigadier General Ben Dida passed away on Wednesday evening, leaving behind a legacy of dedicated service to the nation. General Chengriha expressed his profound sorrow at the loss of a distinguished officer who contributed significantly to the Algerian military.
In a message addressed to the Ben Dida family, General Chengriha acknowledged the late Brigadier General’s commitment to his duties and his unwavering dedication to the defence of Algeria. He highlighted Ben Dida’s professionalism and his contributions to strengthening Algeria’s international military cooperation.
“We have lost a valuable member of our military family,” stated General Chengriha in his message. “Brigadier General Ben Dida was a dedicated officer who served with distinction and honour.
