Five Family Members Hospitalized After Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in Oran

Oran, Algeria – Five members of a family were hospitalized late last night after suffering carbon monoxide poisoning in their home in Oran. The incident occurred in the Colonel Amirouche neighborhood, number 42, in the municipality and district of Oran.

According to local Civil Protection services, they were called to the scene at 10:25 PM following reports of a family suffering from gas inhalation caused by a faulty water heater.

The victims, ranging in age from 6 to 45 years old, displayed symptoms of respiratory distress. Emergency responders provided immediate first aid at the scene before transporting all five individuals to a local hospital for further medical treatment and observation.
