Unstable Weather: Rain, Snow, and Cold Across Several Algerian Provinces

Algiers, Algeria – Several Algerian provinces are bracing for a period of unstable weather, with forecasts predicting rain, snow, and a significant drop in temperatures. According to meteorological services, the western regions of the country are expected to experience rainfall, while snowfall is anticipated on the peaks of Mount Anter during the night.

While the central and eastern regions are expected to enjoy sunny and stable weather conditions, the western provinces, including Tissemsilt, Relizane, Mascara, Sidi Bel Abbes, Tlemcen, Tiaret, and Saida, are likely to see localized rainfall. Higher altitudes, particularly the peaks of Mount Anter, are predicted to receive snowfall overnight.

Temperature fluctuations are also expected across the country. Coastal areas are forecast to experience temperatures between 17 and 18 degrees Celsius, while inland regions will see temperatures ranging from 8 to 16 degrees Celsius. Wind speeds may reach up to 30 kilometers per hour.

In the southern regions, partly cloudy skies are anticipated, with temperatures fluctuating between 12 and 31 degrees Celsius. Wind speeds in the south could reach up to 40 kilometers per hour.
