Thunderstorms and significant rainfall are expected to continue until 9 PM today in the provinces of Tlemcen, Naama, Bechar, and Sidi Bel Abbes. Residents in these areas are advised to exercise caution due to potential flash flooding and reduced visibility.
Another weather advisory indicates that Saida, El Bayadh, and Tiaret will experience thunderstorms and heavy rainfall starting from midday and lasting until midnight. The meteorological office urges residents in these provinces to remain vigilant and monitor weather updates.
Furthermore, the provinces of Medea, Laghouat, and Djelfa are forecasted to receive substantial thunderstorms beginning at 9 PM this evening and continuing until dawn on Monday. These storms could bring localized flooding and travel disruptions.
The western highlands of the country will continue to experience heavy snowfall until 3 PM today, particularly in the provinces of Tlemcen and Naama. Motorists are advised to avoid unnecessary travel in these areas due to dangerous road conditions.
In addition to the western highlands, snowfall is expected to persist in the higher elevations of Sidi Bel Abbes, Saida, El Bayadh, and Tiaret, starting from midday and continuing until midnight.
