Tizi Ouzou, Algeria – A criminal network specializing in vehicle theft has been dismantled in Tizi Ouzou, according to local law enforcement officials. The operation, conducted by the Vehicle Theft Unit of the Wilaya Judicial Police, in coordination with security services in the Ouadhias district, concluded last week.

These included tools and equipment used in the commission of the thefts, two vehicles allegedly used for the transportation of the network members, and several mobile phones. A sum of money, believed to be proceeds from the illicit activities, was also recovered.
