Algiers – The Ministry of Education has urged all candidates applying for teaching positions for the year 2025 to regularly check their application status on the national digital platform.
According to directives issued by various regional education directorates, applicants should log in daily to their accounts to determine if their files have been accepted or rejected. It is crucial to monitor the platform for updates.
Appeals and Data Correction
In cases of rejection, applicants are required to correct any inaccurate data or missing information. This correction process serves as a formal appeal. Candidates must upload any documents indicated as missing in the rejection notification.
Strict Adherence to Deadlines
Education directorates emphasize the importance of adhering to registration deadlines. The final deadline for registration is Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Registration for the teacher recruitment competition, covering vacant positions, commenced on December 16 and will continue for 20 days.
This extended period allows graduates holding degrees aligned with the required qualifications to register and participate in the competition.
Digital Platform and Transparency
All registrations must be submitted through the Ministry’s digital platform, ensuring a transparent and accurate process. The Ministry has provided a dedicated link on its website and official page, detailing the competition’s requirements.
The Ministry has specified the number of positions available, many of which were previously filled through contract employment. These positions are now open for competitive recruitment.
Important Clarifications
This competition does not apply to positions reserved for graduates of higher teacher training colleges. It targets vacant positions that the Ministry fills through external recruitment of university graduates based on their qualifications.
Contract teachers are eligible to participate. Recruitment primarily prioritizes graduates from higher teacher training colleges. However, due to insufficient numbers from these institutions, the Ministry conducts external competitions, where successful candidates undergo further training.
