Constantine Police Seek Public Assistance in Fraud Case

Constantine, Algeria – December 30, 2025 – Police in Constantine have issued a public appeal for information regarding an individual suspected of fraud and deception. The Constantine Security Services announced today that they are seeking assistance in locating a suspect identified as “A.A.” in connection with an ongoing investigation.

According to authorities, the suspect is believed to be involved in a scheme that targets individuals through social media platforms. “A.A.” allegedly lures victims by advertising fictitious travel packages to foreign countries through a bogus travel agency. The Security Services stated that this activity violates Article 26 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, acting under the authority granted by the Public Prosecutor at the El Khroub Court.

The announcement, released by the 6th Urban Security Division of the Ali Mendjeli Security District, urges anyone who believes they may have been a victim of this individual to come forward. DZWatch understands that the suspect is actively being sought by law enforcement.

“We are asking anyone who has been defrauded by this individual to contact the 6th Urban Security Division in the Ali Mendjeli Security District or the Public Prosecutor at the El Khroub Court to file a complaint or provide testimony related to this case,” the Security Services stated in their appeal.

This appeal highlights the ongoing efforts by Algerian law enforcement to combat online fraud and protect citizens from deceptive practices. Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and exercise caution when engaging with unfamiliar individuals or businesses online.
