In Qatar, the Lusail Boulevard in Doha hosted large-scale public events, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display. Egypt witnessed celebratory events in the New Administrative Capital, east of Cairo, where the iconic towers were illuminated with the Egyptian flag. Fireworks also lit up the skies above the Giza pyramids, marking the beginning of 2026.
The United Arab Emirates embraced the New Year with widespread celebrations. According to reports, Dubai hosted over 40 dazzling displays, while Abu Dhabi also organized significant events.
