M’Sila, Algeria – A tragic road accident in the M’Sila province has resulted in one fatality and injuries to four others. The collision, involving two vehicles, occurred on National Route 46 in the Al-Qusay’at area, within the municipality of Ouled Slimane and the district of Ben Srour.
Civil Protection units responded to the scene at approximately 12:15 PM local time. Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered the aftermath of the collision, which involved two passenger vehicles.
Initial reports indicate a head-on collision, however, the official cause of the accident remains under investigation by local authorities.
Sadly, one individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased was transported to the local morgue for identification and further examination. Four other individuals sustained injuries of varying degrees as a result of the crash. Among the injured, one was reported to be in critical condition.
Emergency medical teams provided immediate first aid to the injured at the site of the accident. Subsequently, all four injured individuals were transported to the nearest local hospital for further medical treatment and evaluation. Medical personnel are working to stabilize the injured and provide the necessary care.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the precise circumstances that led to the collision. Traffic flow in the area was temporarily disrupted as emergency services worked to clear the scene and conduct their investigation. Motorists were advised to seek alternative routes where possible.
