In a statement released today, the FLN emphasized that the new traffic law is not intended to burden ordinary citizens. Instead, it seeks to curb the alarming rate of road accidents, which claim over 5,000 lives annually. The FLN reassured the public that the law remains a draft under review by the Council of the Nation.
