Algiers, DZWatch – SETRAM, the company responsible for operating and maintaining the tramway lines in Algiers, has announced new operating hours for the capital’s tramway, effective today. This adjustment aims to optimize urban transportation and enhance the quality of service provided to passengers.
According to a statement released by SETRAM, the first tram from the Les Fusillés station will depart at 5:30 AM. The last tram from the same station will leave at 10:30 PM. Similarly, the first departure from Dergana station is scheduled for 5:30 AM, with the last tram departing at 10:00 PM.
For the route connecting Les Fusillés station and Mohous station, SETRAM indicated that the final tram will depart at 11:15 PM.
The company also stated that the interval between trams will range from 4 to 8 minutes. This frequency is designed to ensure a smooth flow of traffic and alleviate congestion, especially during peak hours. SETRAM aims to provide a more efficient and comfortable commuting experience for residents and visitors alike.
