Algiers – Senate President Azzouz Nasseri received a high-level delegation from the Higher War College, located in the First Military Region, on Tuesday.
The delegation included senior officers serving as instructors, as well as senior officers undergoing training at the prestigious institution. According to a statement released by the Senate, the group also comprised international officers participating in the War College’s training programs.
The meeting, held at the Senate headquarters, provided an opportunity for President Nasseri to engage with the future leaders of the Algerian military and their international counterparts. Discussions reportedly focused on the War College’s curriculum, its role in shaping strategic thinking within the armed forces, and its contribution to regional security.
The Higher War College is a key institution in Algeria’s military education system, responsible for training high-ranking officers in strategic planning, leadership, and international relations.
