Higher Education Ministry Prepares to Launch Unified University Portal

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is finalizing preparations for the launch of a unified portal for universities across Algeria. Minister Kamel Baddari held a coordination meeting Sunday evening to discuss the final steps for the project.

The meeting, conducted via video conference, included the participation of the heads of regional university conferences from the Central, Western, and Eastern regions of the country. Key figures present also included the Director of the National Polytechnic School of Architecture and Urbanism, the Director of the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies, and the Director of the National Agency for the Valorization of Research Results and Technological Development.

Representatives from major universities such as the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB), Constantine 3 University, and Abou Bakr Belkaid University of Tlemcen were also in attendance.

The primary focus of the discussion was on the pedagogical and research aspects of the unified portal, as well as the precise steps required for its official launch. The portal is designed to streamline various university-related procedures for both students and researchers.

The unified portal is expected to significantly improve access to information and services for the university community. By centralizing key resources and processes, the ministry aims to create a more efficient and user-friendly experience for all stakeholders.
