Algiers, January 6, 2026 – The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications announced today the opening of applications for the fifth edition of the ESCWA Digital Arabic Content Award for Sustainable Development. The ministry encourages institutions and young entrepreneurs with impactful digital solutions to apply.
This award, organized by the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) in collaboration with the World Summit Awards (WSA), recognizes applications and digital solutions demonstrating a tangible economic and social impact on society. The initiative aims to foster innovation and promote the development of valuable digital content within the Arab world.
The deadline for submitting applications is February 25, 2026. Interested parties can find detailed information regarding participation criteria, evaluation standards, and award regulations on the official ESCWA website.
Applicants are required to submit their applications exclusively through the designated online platform before the deadline. The ministry also urges Algerian applicants to notify them of their registration for the award by sending an email to dgsi@mpt.gov.dz. This will allow the ministry to coordinate and monitor Algerian participation in this prestigious competition.
