DZWatch has learned that the Automated Clearing House Association (GIE Monétique), the official body responsible for electronic payment systems in Algeria, has increased the payment limit for all bank and postal cards. This measure aims to facilitate the payment of installments for the AADL 3 housing program.
According to a statement released yesterday by GIE Monétique, the decision was made “within the framework of facilitating the payment process for AADL housing installments. GIE Monétique, in coordination with its member institutions, has increased the payment limit for card transactions.”
This initiative is intended to enable subscribers to the AADL (Agence d’Amélioration et de Développement du Logement) rental housing program to conveniently pay their installments using either the CIB bank card or the Algérie Poste Edahabia card.
GIE Monétique emphasized the importance of ensuring that bank card information is only entered on official and trusted platforms. The association provided links to the official payment portals:
- Edahabia Card Payment Platform: https://epay.poste.dz/payment/
- CIB Bank Card Payment Platform: https://cib.satim.dz/payment/
The statement further affirmed that this action is part of a broader effort to simplify the lives of housing subscribers and ensure secure and seamless electronic payment transactions. The move is expected to significantly reduce queues and streamline the payment process for thousands of AADL beneficiaries.
