Algiers, January 9, 2026 – Several eastern provinces of Algeria are expected to experience rainfall today, according to the National Meteorological Office. The forecast indicates a shift in weather patterns, particularly affecting the northeastern regions of the country.
The northern regions are predicted to have a mix of sunny and partly cloudy conditions. However, the eastern areas will see more significant precipitation. The provinces specifically mentioned in the weather advisory include Tizi Ouzou, Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, and El Tarf.
