The editorial in the January 2026 issue of El Djeich magazine, titled “A New Year with Stronger Resolve,” highlights Algeria’s role as a vocal advocate for justice, particularly concerning the Palestinian cause. The nation actively mobilized the international community to address the aggression against Gaza, condemning the grave violations and inhumane acts perpetrated against the Palestinian people. Algeria has consistently called for the establishment of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
