Youth Ministry Denies Misleading Statements on Irregular Migration

Algiers – The Ministry of Youth and the Supreme Council of Youth have issued a strong denial regarding fabricated statements attributed to the Minister in charge of the Supreme Council of Youth, Mustapha Hidaoui, concerning the issue of irregular migration. The denial comes after widespread circulation of the false claims on various social media platforms.

In a clarifying statement released today, the Ministry emphasized that the circulated posts contain entirely false and misleading information. It further noted that certain online accounts have impersonated national media outlets in an attempt to lend credibility to the fabricated content. The Ministry categorically stated that the Minister has not made any statements whatsoever on the subject of irregular migration.

The Ministry and the Supreme Council of Youth underscored that all official statements, news, and announcements are exclusively published through their official websites and verified social media accounts. They urged citizens and media outlets to exercise caution and verify the authenticity of information before sharing it.

“We are committed to transparency and open communication with the public,” the statement read. “We are also dedicated to combating the spread of false information that aims to mislead the public and damage the reputation of official institutions.”

The Ministry reiterated its commitment to providing accurate and reliable information to the public and urged citizens to rely only on official sources for news and updates.
