The Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Affairs, Souria Mouloudji, presided over the celebrations marking the Amazigh New Year, Yennayer 2976, on Sunday. The event, organized by the Ministry in coordination with the People’s Provincial Assembly of Algiers, brought together families and children residing in care institutions under the national solidarity sector, as well as state officials, artists, and representatives of civil society.
The evening highlighted traditional Algerian customs associated with the Amazigh New Year. The Minister actively engaged with guests, exchanging greetings and sharing in the festive atmosphere. The celebration was filled with warmth and a strong sense of community.
