Three Palestinians Killed in Khan Younis Amid Ongoing Demolitions

Three Palestinians have been killed and a woman injured by Israeli fire in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, according to local sources. The incident marks a recent violation of the ceasefire agreement in place since October 10, 2025.

Medical sources at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis confirmed the arrival of the bodies of the three deceased individuals – identified as Atef Samir Al-Bayouk, Mahmoud Sobhi Bureika, and Wessam Abdullah Salem Al-Amour. They were reportedly targeted by a quadcopter drone in the central part of the city.

The same sources reported that a Palestinian woman was wounded by Israeli gunfire in the “Al-Batan Al-Samin” area of Khan Younis and has been transferred for medical treatment.

The Israeli military has claimed responsibility for the deaths, asserting that the three Palestinians were “armed” and approached their forces within the designated “Yellow Line” area in southern Gaza.

In a statement, the military alleged that its forces operating in southern Gaza identified four armed individuals in the Yellow Line area who approached them in a manner that posed a direct threat. The statement further claimed that the air force, acting on instructions from ground forces, “eliminated” three individuals and “neutralized” the fourth to remove the perceived threat.

The Israeli military also stated that during searches conducted after the incident, its forces allegedly discovered “weapons and military equipment intended for gathering intelligence on the activities of the Israeli army in the area” in the possession of the deceased Palestinians.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that the Israeli military has demolished residential buildings east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City as part of ongoing destruction operations.

These demolitions continue despite the existing ceasefire. Reports indicate widespread destruction of buildings within Gaza since the start of the ceasefire.
