Saudi Advisor in Aden for Security & Military Talks

Aden, Yemen – Advisor to the Joint Forces Commander, Falah al-Shahrani, has arrived in Aden for discussions regarding security and military arrangements for the coming period. Al-Shahrani, a consultant in the Saudi Royal Court, met with several military leaders from various southern Yemeni governorates at the Arab Coalition headquarters in the interim capital on Tuesday.

The meeting focused on coordinating security and military strategies in light of the evolving situation in Yemen. The aim is to bolster stability and unify military and security efforts in liberated areas. Discussions also included mechanisms for organizing and unifying military formations, as well as enhancing coordination between different units to meet the demands of the next phase.

Emphasis was placed on coordinating between military formations and establishing mechanisms to control the security situation. Participants also outlined priorities for the upcoming period, aligning with the Arab Coalition’s efforts to support Yemeni state institutions and strengthen their capacity to face security challenges.

These meetings are part of ongoing Saudi efforts to reorganize the security and military landscape in southern Yemen. The goal is to ensure the readiness of forces to deal with any potential developments in the near future. The visit, which includes a high-level delegation, signifies a coordinated effort led by the Joint Forces with direct support from the Kingdom, to oversee organizational and field arrangements and to enhance coordination.
