Thunderstorms Expected Across Several Algerian Provinces

Algiers, DZWatch – Significant thunderstorms are forecast to impact several provinces across Algeria today, according to weather authorities. The affected regions span western, central, and eastern inland areas of the country.

An official alert indicates that the following provinces are likely to experience these weather disturbances: Tlemcen, Ain Temouchent, Saida, Relizane, Oran, Mostaganem, Mascara, Djelfa, M’Sila, Ouled Djellal, Biskra, Batna, Setif, and Bordj Bou Arreridj.

The anticipated rainfall is expected to commence around midday today, Thursday, and persist until midnight. Localized thunder activity is also a possibility during this period.

Authorities are urging citizens, particularly those residing in low-lying areas and road users, to exercise caution. The public is advised to take necessary precautions to mitigate potential risks associated with water accumulation and slippery conditions.
