Algiers – The Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Mr. Lotfi Boujemaa, presented the draft law pertaining to nationality before the Council of the Nation today, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in a public session.
The presentation, which took place in Algiers, was presided over by the President of the Council, Mr. Azzouz Nasseri. The proposed legislation aims to update and clarify existing provisions related to Algerian citizenship.
