The Algerian pavilion serves as a comprehensive showcase of the nation’s expertise in the hydrocarbons and mining sectors. It highlights the activities and projects of major national groups, most notably Sonatrach in the oil and gas sector, Sonarem in the mining industries, and Naftal in the marketing and distribution of petroleum products.

A key focus is on Sonatrach’s pivotal role as a leading national company operating across the entire value chain, from exploration and production to transportation, processing, and marketing. The pavilion also emphasizes Sonatrach’s expansion into petrochemicals and seawater desalination, as well as its commitment to digital transformation, environmental protection, and the promotion of innovation and technological partnerships, all in support of energy sovereignty and sustainable economic development.

The pavilion further highlights Sonarem’s experience in developing mining industries through the exploitation and processing of mineral resources, geological research, gold exploitation, and the development of processing industries. It also showcases specialized training in mining professions, with the aim of creating added value, providing jobs, and boosting Algerian mining exports. Naftal’s contribution as a key national player in ensuring the supply of fuel and gas to markets is also emphasized, along with its efforts to develop its services through digitization and the establishment of a culture of safety and prevention to ensure service continuity and quality.

This strong Algerian presence in Chad underscores Algeria’s desire to share its expertise and foster collaboration within the region.
