The National Democratic Rally (RND) has officially announced the establishment of a new center for strategic thinking and studies. The announcement was made by the Secretary-General of the RND, Mounther Boudhen, during a formal ceremony.
In his address, Boudhen stated that the creation of this center signifies a profound shift in the party’s approach to political action. He emphasized that the RND is moving beyond traditional methods to engage in in-depth analysis, strategic forecasting, and contribute to the enrichment of national development programs.
Boudhen highlighted that the establishment of the think tank fulfills a commitment made during the party’s seventh congress. He affirmed the RND’s dedication to its established principles.
“The RND has taken the initiative to create this center as a strategic brain for the party and a national space for generating visions,” Boudhen explained. “It will serve as a research institution, bringing together leading academic talent and national expertise from various fields, both within Algeria and abroad. The center will foster the exchange of ideas and the development of perspectives rooted in the unique Algerian experience, rather than imported models.”
The Secretary-General further described the center as a national research hub and a repository of knowledge, providing the party and the state with insightful analyses across crucial sectors. He stressed the importance of integrating academic expertise with practical experience. “We believe that successful policy is not crafted solely in offices or solely in the field, but in the shared space where knowledge meets reality,” Boudhen concluded.
The newly established center aims to play a pivotal role in shaping the RND’s future policies and contributing to Algeria’s national development agenda.
