During the meeting, the Supreme Council examined measures designed to improve the framework governing imports. These measures focus on better addressing the needs of economic operators, with the ultimate goal of satisfying the genuine requirements of the national economy.
Emphasis was placed on simplifying and digitizing import procedures, as well as enhancing inter-ministerial coordination. The aim is to ensure improved processing and monitoring of import operations. However, officials stressed that the fundamental objective of this system remains the promotion of national production and the development of investment.
