Algiers is set to host a specialized exhibition for international brands manufactured locally on January 30 and 31, 2026. The event highlights Algeria’s ongoing efforts to localize production and bolster the national economy through high-quality domestic manufacturing.
In the industrial sector, Fiat has announced its participation in the upcoming ‘Algeria Mechanica’ exhibition in Oran. This follows significant leadership changes within the state-owned pharmaceutical giant, Saidal Group, where Mr. Belkhalfa has been appointed as the acting Director General.
Strengthening international economic ties remains a priority, as Kamel Moula, President of the Council for Algerian Economic Renewal (CREA), recently discussed investment cooperation with Ségolène Royal. Furthermore, the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI) held talks with the President of the France-Algeria Association to explore mutual trade opportunities.
