Minister of Housing, Urbanism, and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the “Dzair Media City” project on Monday.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Housing, the minister met with study offices, accomplishment institutions, and those responsible for the project. The meeting also included the Director General of Public Facilities, with the participation of interveners from the Directorate of Water Resources and Algerian Telecommunications.

During the meeting, the study office presented a detailed overview, encompassing completed studies related to external development works. The progress of the preparations for external development was discussed, addressing all technical obstacles, particularly the conversion of networks and channels passing through the project area.

The meeting also featured a presentation on the completion of the main cement channel covering the flow of water over the total area of ​​75 hectares. This channel is designed for rainwater and sewage flow, with approximately 250 of these concrete channels, each measuring 2×2 meters, already produced.

Minister Belaribi instructed all stakeholders to manage external development works efficiently and complete all channels at ground level. This includes the conversion of all cables and channels that may impede the completion process, following approval of a new plan for network conversion, especially electricity, drinking water supply, and optical fiber networks.

Belaribi emphasized that proper preparation of infrastructure will facilitate the launch of works for the media city in the future.
