Prime Minister Sifi Gharib arrived Monday in the province of Oran to oversee the arrival and unloading of the first shipments of iron ore extracted from the Gara Djebilet mine, destined for the Tosyali iron and steel complex, commissioned by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The Prime Minister arrived in Oran accompanied by a high-level ministerial delegation as part of the ceremonial events for the commissioning of the Gara Djebilet – Bechar – Oran mining railway.
This strategic project represents a significant step in the valuation of national mining resources and the strengthening of the iron industry sector, contributing to the support of economic diversification and the achievement of sustainable development in Algeria.
