A weather alert from the National Meteorological Office warned of continued strong winds in several provinces across the country, accompanied by sandstorms.
According to the same alert, wind speeds are expected to exceed 80 km/h until 6:00 PM this Saturday in Tindouf province.
Another alert warned of strong winds accompanied by sandstorms from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM in the provinces of Béni Abbès, Adrar, and Bordj Badji Mokhtar.
