U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened Iran with “unprecedented” military force if it responds to American strikes. In statements reported by Al Jazeera, Trump said, “If Iran delivers a strong blow today as it has threatened, we will strike it with a force like never before.”
He added, “Iran has stated that it will deliver a very strong blow today, and it would be better for them not to do so.”
Notably, Iran announced on Sunday the martyrdom of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Israeli airstrikes, declaring 40 days of national mourning and the closure of government offices for seven days.
