Oil prices continue to rise

Oil prices continued to rise on Wednesday amid supply concerns. Brent crude futures rose by $1.11 per barrel, or 1.4 percent, to reach $82.53 per barrel, after recording on Tuesday the highest closing level since January 2025.

U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also rose by 79 cents, or 1.1 percent, to reach $75.37 per barrel, marking its highest settlement level since January 2025.
