Prime Minister Seifi Gharib chaired a government meeting on Wednesday to discuss several key issues.
At the beginning of the session, the government examined a preliminary draft law amending and supplementing Law No. 04-08 of August 14, 2004, concerning the conditions for conducting commercial activities.
In line with the President’s directives to establish sectoral roadmaps for the 2026-2028 period, the government reviewed roadmap projects for the sectors of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Energy and Renewable Energies, Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Religious Affairs and Endowments, and the Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-enterprises.
These plans, developed based on objective assessments and practical tools aligned with human and financial resources, aim to structure national development, diversify the economy, increase the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and improve local production.
Finally, as part of its follow-up on major structural projects, the government was briefed on the progress of several projects in the fields of agriculture, energy, and irrigation.
