Oil prices rose on Thursday after Iraqi security officials stated that Iranian boats loaded with explosives hit two fuel tankers amid other global supply disruptions due to the American-Israeli war on Iran.
By 01:18 GMT, Brent crude futures rose by $5.69, or 6.19 percent, to $97.67 per barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude also climbed by $5.11, or 5.86 percent, to $92.36.
