Oil prices rose on Thursday after Iraqi security officials reported that Iranian boats loaded with explosives struck two fuel tankers, amid further global supply disruptions caused by the American-Israeli war on Iran.
By 01:18 GMT, Brent crude futures increased by $5.69, or 6.19 percent, to $97.67 per barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude also rose by $5.11, or 5.86 percent, to $92.36.
