Agreement between ANGEM and Algérie Poste

On Tuesday, the Director General of the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit (ANGEM), Souad Bendjemil, and the Director General of Algérie Poste, Chiraz Bachiri, oversaw the signing of a framework agreement between the two institutions.

According to the agency’s statement, the agreement aims to support and accompany microcredit beneficiaries by providing modern and secure payment solutions.

The agreement also aims to enable entrepreneurs to benefit from Algérie Poste’s services, particularly opening postal current accounts, facilitating money transfer and receipt operations, and adopting electronic payment methods, contributing to improving the management of their economic activities and enhancing their integration into the formal economic cycle.

This step is part of the agency’s strategy to modernize its services and bring them closer to citizens, especially in remote areas, by leveraging Algérie Poste’s extensive network across the national territory.

This partnership embodies the commitment of both parties to support micro-entrepreneurship and encourage individual initiatives, contributing to wealth creation and job opportunities, the statement added.
