Algeria has condemned in the strongest terms the “unacceptable” Israeli attacks on Lebanon, expressing its full solidarity with the Lebanese leadership and people. According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Algeria reaffirmed its firm commitment to Lebanon’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
The Ministry further stated that the Israeli aggression against Lebanon is witnessing a continuous escalation, resulting in heavy human casualties and material destruction that has exceeded all imagination. In light of this tragic situation, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has remained in constant contact with his Lebanese counterpart, Joseph Aoun. He also instructed the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, to maintain close coordination with his Lebanese counterpart, Youssef Rji.
